Obere Firstalm Restaurant in Schliersee

Before Corona, it was always a highlight to come here. Now (01/2021) you have to pull up your sledge yourself (no rental), but there are still tasty refreshments "to go" ...

A wonderful place to stay

A wonderful place to rest after a long hike. The view from the terrace can be admired for a long time. We ate delicious Kaiserschmarrn here. Anyone who has tried this Austrian delicacy knows how good it is. Beer tastes great here, especially on a hot day. I recommend this place.

Good and there is ToGo now, too ... But everything is packed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Beautiful view. The way to the Alm from Spitzingsee is not strenuous and takes about 1 hour. Gastronomy cannot be rated at the moment.

An idyll in the mountains above Spitzingsee. Strategically located for tours to the Brecherspitze, Bodenschneid or to the Rosskopf. A cozy parlor, the spacious outdoor area and the great team with excellent delicacies invite you to linger, feast and relax. Here “the soul dangles”.

We were back yesterday. Regardless of the weather, it is worth a visit. Very friendly staff, excellent food and clean as rarely where. We will certainly hike up again soon with our customers.

Can be reached very quickly on foot from the parking lots, even with the bio-bike no problem. The view of the surrounding mountains is nice, the lake cannot be seen. Points are deducted for the unfriendly service, the vinegar-heavy sausage salad and the very high prices. You can tell that a lot of Munich residents go here.

Beautiful alp above the Spritzig lake. Orders are placed by mobile phone and paid for using PayPal or credit card. Super easy and a great idea in times of Corona. Anyone traveling by e-bike / bike should not follow the path to the Freundereich-Alm, as you have to push the bike (almost carry it).

Great managed Alm. Recommended for an excursion in every season. The ascent from Spitzingsee via the lower Firstalm takes less than 1 hour. Our children made it through the path well (sometimes with and sometimes without complaints) from the age of 3. They love the Alm and so do we. The view is wonderful, the Alm is inviting, the staff are very friendly and the food is very, very good (I don't think it's just the appetite after the ascent). Today we had the beer goulash with dumplings and a salad plate for just under 15 euros. Actually a bit too expensive for me, but a smart men's portion and soooo delicious. The Kaiserschmarrn is also highly recommended. Descent with a sledge is compulsory in winter. The toboggans can be hired on the Alm. Overnight stays are also possible.

After the ascent (50min) at 32 ° C from the Spitzingsee to the Upper First Alm (1,370m), we were greeted by very friendly staff. We could enjoy the kitchen with a fantastic mountain view.

Very great Alm. The staff are very nice and friendly. The family room is very large with 6 beds and very clean. The food is very good, the prices are acceptable. For a short trip I can only recommend it.

The Obere Firstalm is beautifully situated and offers a beautiful and sunny view. The Obere Firstalm also has a lot to offer when it comes to food and drinks - which, by the way, are very tasty. A huge playground and some deck chairs to chill out. The staff is very nice and served very quickly. The prices are reasonable. I can only recommend a stop.

The food is very nice and the view is spectacular (if you seat outside). You can order and pay online which comed in handy if you want to avoid contact during Coronatimes or dont have cash with you. The only minus point would be that we had to wait quite a long time for the food. Otherwise was a very pleaseful experience.

Super nice hut, modern with hut charm. The atmosphere is great, in the middle of the mountains with a beautiful view. The food is delicious and the price for a hut is completely okay. Service is great and super attentive. Especially for people who prefer to do an easy hike, the ideal place because you can get to the hut via a forest path very easily. Or a little more “hike” via an access “behind” the lake.

The food was delicious and well prepared. They have big tables in the terrace. We wanted to order online, as they suggest (because of Covid-19) but it was not possible to place the order after we had already everything in the basket. So we had to wait a little bit since it was crowded and enjoyed the view meanwhile. The staff seems nice. The waiting is worthy since the food was really good. I recommend the "Reiberdatschi"

Great food. Friendly service. Food order done with a QR code at the table and payment with pay pal. Brilliant!

The food was good, but unfortunately very unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. We felt that they are making a big favor for us. The person on an entrance to the restaurant was speaking with a loud tone, was unpatient, impolite, rude, was even screaming. That’s how they “meet” their customers. I’m not going to come back there again. 👎🏻

I went here for a drink then to sledding on tobbogon which is €5 to rent Be warned it's a 40min walk up from the car park, but worth it to go down You can go sledding a night up until 10/10.30pm The food and drink here is good

Every good food

Great food and plenty of beer. Views of the mountain and slopes is fantastic, with both outdoor and indoor seating areas for relaxing. Highly recommended for families and couples alike.

Very friendly staff and great option to have fun im the snow

2.5km from the car park downstairs. Beautiful view of the mountains and a point of departure. In winter, you go on snow, which is also a toboggan run. Sledges can be rented for 5 euros by paying at the hostel's ticket office. Next to it is the average slope for sledding. Typical Bavarian hata and food too. There is a lot of space but at the peak time it is almost impossible. A lot of people come here. Downstairs parking is a disaster after around 10:30. Self-service at the top. You buy at the checkout and then receive a pad that vibrates as there are dishes to pick up at the window. The toilet is small so is the queue but clean. There are chairs for toddlers.

veey good sledging, gulash soup

Nice outing for sledding! Park at the "Spitzingsattel" and hike the 2.5 km up to the Obere Firstalm. You can rent a sled there and get back down in 10 min! At the Firstalm they have a good selection of food and drinks.

Location, location, location. A nice 45 minute walk up from Spitzingsee with a terrace on the south (sunny side). Enough menu choices and beer. Beer, sun and the mountains. No need to say anything more.

Been here for a wedding celebration... the views are beautiful! The hike from Spitzingsattel is more like a stroll... but it forms a great starting point to explore the are. Service was very attentive, food was local and great.Looking at the menu, prices are being very reasonable and when sipping a drink on the sun soaked terrace you cant go wrong. The rooms been newly refurbished and are fantastic for a brief stayover.

Very beautiful small and steep hike and then there is a restaurant with self service and mesmerising view of Alps and skating grounds. There is a children play area, do, best for families with small children plus lot of cows and chickens for children to be amused.

Bit of a hike to get there - but worth it

Ahh, this place - uite a hike to reach there and get some beers. Being a vegetarian ), this placr seemed quite the tough place to get some good food. Also, probably i was grumpy due to the the heavy amount of rains falling through. I heard great reviews feom my colleagues about the grilled pig - but i do not think that u get that on daily basis.

easy the best fish meal i’ve ever had. it was the trout.
